Lughnasadh or Lammas is today. I always think these traditional celebrations should fall on the full moon, and not the calendar.

For those of you confused about the whole topic, Lammas (loaf-mass by some) or Lughnasadh (pronounced luna-sa) was the early harvest festival. The early grains were ready (hence the loaf), and the gardens would have been full of veggies. A good time of the year for traditional societies that were up against starvation most winters.
