Two Oklahoma brothers Conner Harvey, 7, and Tray Wells, 5 suffered severe burns causing blisters all over their bodies while on a field trip.
Their school ‘Happiness is a Learning Center,’ a daycare program in Oklahoma, took the boys to a splash park but failed to put sunscreen on the boys, causing the burns.
The boys’ mom, Shaunna Broadway, took them to the Emergency Room in Tulsa, but was told by medical staff that her children needed to be airlifted to Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Galveston, Texas due to the severity of their burns.
Broadway filed a police report against the daycare center stating that they endangered her children.
‘Right’s right, and wrong’s wrong, and there’s no excuse for this,’ she said. ‘I’m a single parent, and I do all I can. I work Monday through Friday, and they have to go to daycare.’
